Gas was $1.61 when Bush left office. It’s $3.28 now. And it’s projected to go to $5 by 2012.
So why no pitchforks?
LARRY ELDER: Five dollars per gallon of gas by 2012! A former president of Shell Oil considers this likely. The average price on Christmas Day for a gallon of regular gas reached $3.28 in Los Angeles County, the highest price since October 2008. In one month, the price rose 13 cents, up 35 cents year to year.
Where are the calls to sic Obama’s Justice Department on Big Oil to hold the oil companies accountable for “market manipulation”? Why aren’t we hunting down the amoral “oil speculators” responsible for repealing the law of supply-and-demand in order to line their pockets?
During President George W. Bush’s administration, we constantly heard demands to hold the President accountable for “Big Oil’s price gouging.” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., just two years ago, knew exactly whom to blame for “skyrocketing” oil prices: “The price of oil is at the doorstep; $4-plus per gallon for oil is attributed to two oilmen in the White House and their protectors in the United States Senate.”

But do not forget, “It’s Bush’s fault!” Or at least that is what the Democrats are saying over and over and over again.
I’m not suprised by much! Gas prices up, insurance premiums up…..
Yes. I miss Our President – George W. Integrity is not a populare charachter trait of some these days. Chivalry…is still alive and well,Praise God, Our Father – maker of Heaven and Earth (no mistaking to my reference!)
Can’t we charge Ob. for his gas usage?
Insurance premiums? Oh, I forgot we signed this up for life, no wonder he ran for office!
Thanks Ben for the news!
Happy New Year,
a happy (despite the news) conservative Texan! Never forget GOD is in control and the government SHALL rest upon HIS shoulders! Peace, Joy and Love to all…

The past four years of a Democrat controlled Congress and two years of Obama and his administration are producing Hope and Change. Yeah, RIGHT. Definitely change (that no sensible person wants) and hope that never materialized in man. No man should put hope in man nor ask for change to that which does not need or deserve it.
The foundation (Constitution) is sound, it is Progressives and Liberals who want something else, however, they do not understand the consequences of their actions. Those Democrats are not much in forward thinking. When someone ask for something without thinking about where it will lead you, deserve to have surprises along the way.
I do not like surprises, nor do I like going where I see tragedy ahead. When America has a leader that can tell you why something is correct and the proper way to go, America will know it is going in the correct route. And, no one should have confidence is man who says follow me (blinders on) and I will lead you to a better day. Democrats follow that kind of thinking because they don’t see ahead to the destruction of their failed ideas.
Time for America to get a full body of Legislatures, jurist, and executive body to know and explain (honestly with clarity) the course corrections to put America back on track to its once great footing. Look at Blankenship2012 and pledge today.
The Freedom Cause and Blankenship2012.
