Obama awkwardly explains to Mexican reporter that Americans have a Constitutional right to bear arms

Mexican reporter wants to know why President Obama can’t just “veto” the Second Amendment just like the President of Mexico can veto parts of the Mexican constitution he doesn’t like.

Not much to get excited about here, except that it’s one more example of Obama taking a simple question and turning it into an opportunity to blather on. He could have shut up after the first couple of sentences and he would have been fine. Was he awkward sounding? Yes. But then, he almost always is especially when he’s not on teleprompter.
Mexico can “veto” gun rights. That’s certainly worked out well for them.
