When I see performances like this, I begin to feel sorry for him. He’s just out of his depth.

My questions are: Did a speechwriter actually write this for Obama? Is this the caliber of thought that’s going on in the White House? Did someone (other than Obama) actually think this was a good line?

And it was delivered so brilliantly.

Do you remember, back in the day, when some actually thought Barack Obama was an inspiring speaker?

I never did. But some thought he was.
