In an Air Force-related story you may not be aware of, this time it's a four-star general who's doing the crimes, rather than being pressured to commit them, as was General Shelton of the Air Force Space Command. In 2006 Major Jill Metzger's alleged kidnapping and escape from her captors in Kyrgyzstan, where she was stationed at Manas Air Base, made international headlines. But the story soon vanished when it became obvious that Metzher had concocted the story as a cover for a botched abortion she had sought in a nearby town. Metzger was returned to the USA and received 100 percent disability payments until she was returned to active duty three years later. If that isn't enough to raise questions, during that time she also competeed in several marathons. It also appears that this cover-up has been possible only because the powerful four star general Gary North has ensured Metzger's protection.
